Named after the exotic birds of Papua New Guinea, the Bird of Paradise is designed in an Asian Tropical style with meandering, lagoon-style pools that weave between the four buildings to create an intimate compound that is lush with vegetation.

The Bird offers a large interior living room with fold-back walls, as well as several exterior living areas, one with a fireplace. There are three dining experiences.

The outdoor ambiance is captured in large verandahs and terrace patios, both shaded and open. A large Indonesian bale or daybed is situated in a grove of palm trees overlooking the sea and is perfect for massages and naps.

Villa Location

The Bird is located on a small bluff overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the islands of St. Barth's and St. Martin. The beautiful, curved Sandy Hill Bay beach is a short walk down a path and the sheltered bay and beach offer excellent swimming and snorkeling as well as a safe harbor for a small yacht.

There are four bedroom suites with an office that can serve as a fifth bedroom. The placement of the suites, each with its own balcony and equal, panoramic views, assures individual privacy for guests. Each suite has its own refrigerator and coffee service.
