Dinning Room: seats 12; this opens up on to the patio that allows for the outdoor element and stunning views while dining inside. There is a large casual breakfast & lunch area off the kitchen, as well as a dining area in the two bedroom cottage. The main front deck and courtyard patio also have dining areas for casual meals. The games room has tables that can serve as eating areas while watching TV or playing games.
Home Theater:It boasts 8 reclining leather theatre seats with Mark Levinson reference amps, and audio and video digital signal processors, DVD and VHS equipment, X-Box and X-Box 360, Stewart 120" masking screen, Runco DLP HD Projector, Revel Salon speakers, padded acoustic walls and storage for 500+ DVD's and 100 tapes.The room features black walnut pillars with hidden speakers, marble floors with oriental rugs and double sub woofers that rock the walls and 7.2 Dolby digital surround sound
Games Room: The games room features a 5x9 pool table with 9 professional cues, pool and snooker balls, with professional overhead lighting, a blackjack poker table, a gaming table that converts into a mini-casino with a rack of personalized gaming chips and a 64" high definition TV with satellite and TiVo. The audio system includes a 600W Pioneer Elite Digital Surround Sound A/V controller, driving a 5.1 Paradigm Monitor speaker system, DVD and VHS players and cable TV. There is also a large selection of children's and adult games, including bridge cards & score sheets, chess and scrabble. There are two leather couches, 3 leather chairs and a small dining area.
Kitchen: Its amenities include 2 sub zero refrigerators, 4 under counter refrigerated drawers, 2 under counter fridges for drinks, 2 dishwashers, 3 trash compactors, 3 sinks with disposers, 2 wine coolers, an ice maker, a Meile built-in coffee maker, 3 ovens, warming drawer and microwave, all in heavy gauge stainless steel, and many more luxury features. The 6 burner gas stove also features a griddle and ventilation hood, with a slate back splash.
Gym and Palates Studio: state of the art work-out room with ocean views on 3 sides. It holds both free weights and enough equipment for any work-out program. There is a tread mill, stepper, recumbent bike and work-out stack. There are also a number of work-out tapes for those who like some guidance. Plus, enjoy the Pilates equipment, DVD’s and books that are in the gym for your use. The Pilates combination Reformer & Cadillac equipment is for the more experienced Pilates person. There are also high and low barrels. There is a 50" plasma flat screen TV, Cable TV, DVD and VHS players with surround sound speakers, hot and cold instant water, a small refrigerator and a 1/2 bathroom. Use the AC or if you prefer, open all the sliding glass doors and bring the outside in while you workout to the sound of the ocean crashing against the bluff walls below.
A Finlandia sauna is located beside the gym. The interior is teak and can hold 6 to 8 people comfortably. Note that it takes about 20 minutes to come up to full temperature, at which time, water may be splashed on the heated stones to create super heated steam. Please check with your doctor before using a sauna, and limit your exposure to the heat to 15 minutes. CAUTION: Also, be aware, that when water is splashed on the hot stones, there is an instant rush of very hot steam created, so do not stand directly over the heating unit. Children under 12 should never use a sauna, and children under 16 should always be accompanied by an adult. Children's skin is much thinner than that of an adult and their capacity to absorb any excess heat is much less than that of an adult.
Dance Studio: The Villa has a unique dance studio with a professionally laid floor. The studio has 6 fans as well as AC and a sprung wood floor, covered with a Marley type dance finish. There is also an ensuite bathroom and water cooler. Please remember to only dance in bare feet or proper dance wear, that is, non-marking shoes or slippers.
Tennis Court: This professionally finished lighted tennis court can be enjoyed both day and night. The tennis court also enjoys a soft but fast surface, with a beautiful gazebo for spectators, and a 200-ball ball machine and gatherer, for those needing some one-on-one. There is also a back board to use when no one else wants to play! The Villa has 4 adult and 4 childrens racquets available for your use. Please bring white or green soled shoes, or shoes that have non-marking soles. The court doubles as a water collector, routing all rain water into a cistern which is used for plant irrigation.
The Gardens: Besides spectacular ocean views and it’s own beach access this 2.4 gated acre property surrounds you with manicured gardens. The most lush landscaping on the island with extensive patios and seating areas along with a stunning hidden grotto and waterfall, complete this estate. The gardens have been designed to allow for color all year round. The grotto also features a small pool, the home to six 8-inch fresh water turtles and a few frogs. A great place to read a book on a lazy afternoon! The Villa has a year round cutting garden providing fresh flowers for the tables and bedrooms and grows the following fruit: bananas, pineapple, coconuts, sapodilla, papaya, passion fruit, Jamaican cherries, pomegranate and tamarind.
