Cape Charles, Virginia – Beachside Living at its Best

Cape Charles is a small, sleepy beachside town on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. It’s a four-hour drive from Washington, DC and makes for a perfect weekend getaway any time of year. The town is quiet, but full of character.

If you’re looking for a place where everyone still waves hello as you walk by and golf cars are the chosen means of transportation, then look no further. Cape Charles will captivate your spirit and relax you in a way that you didn’t know that you needed.

What to Do

Beach – Cape Charles is located on a long stretch of white sand beach. Cycle or walk to the beach for a relaxing afternoon. Make sure to stay until the evening when you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking sunset. It’s perfect just about every night.

Golf – Right outside the historic area, but still within the city limits are two PGA golf courses. The Bay Creek marks the first time Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer designed golf courses for the same club.
