Himalayan Peaks: Mother Nature’s Magic

Dramatic, imposing and nothing short of majestic – the Himalayan peaks are one of Mother Nature’s most impressive feats. These are mountains beyond mountains, these are peaks that cut like a knife through the clouds, that dwarf all living things and that not even the furious beating of a birds wings could ever hope to conquer. The Himalayan peaks.

Standing like giants with white ice glimmering beneath the circular sun, one glimpse of these mountains is enough to send a shiver down your spine. There is only one way to conquer the rising height of the Himalayas and that is through flight.

Soaring high against the cornflower background of the sky you can see nothing below but the craggy peaks of the world’s most impressive mountains. Sheer cliffs seem to slope vertically down for miles, snow glistens like a thousand scattered diamonds and wisps of clouds catch and tear on the sharpest pinnacles. It is as though someone has carved this world from the depths of dreams and once you glimpse the epic tale of Mount Everest standing tall you never lose that moment for the rest of your life.

A private plane, a one hour flight and a small window of which to see the dream, this is the highest Himalayas experience you could hope for. It feels as though the small whirring plane grazes the top mists of the mountains and offers astounding views down deep into the Katmandu Valley that ebbs and flows below.

Witnessing the first glints of morning sun catch and slide down the peaks, seeing the spiritual splendor of the Gauri-Shankar and finally catching sight of the highest spot on earth at the peak of Everest seems to creep into your bones. As you finally touch down on humble ground, your legs may shake a little and your heart strum a chord in your chest as you fully comprehend the heights of where you have been.
