Maison Bagatelle – Uniquely French in Dubai

If after a night out in luxurious Dubai, a scrumptious brunch at a coveted new hot spot is what you’re looking for-look no further than Maison Bagatelle. With its all-white, chic ambience; cosy seating, walls adorned with quirky pieces of art, and spacious venue illuminated by heavy chandeliers, Maison Bagatelle reminded us of the charming cafes and bakeries that line the streets of Marais in Paris. What was distinctly different though, was the creative menu at Maison Bagatelle that infused some of our favorite tastes and flavors into dishes we would have never imagined to combine them in. In this case, I’m referring to their “Truffle Popcorn”-a genius of a snack that combines the richness of truffle and the crunchiness of popcorn.

Of the many other dishes we tried and with a menu laden with their fresh takes on otherwise classic salads and sandwiches, our favorites narrowed down to their ‘Lobster Rolls’ – sweet rolls of bread filled with chunks of lobster, apple, celery and red onion brought together by a creamy mayonnaise. Their ‘Pear Burratta’-Burratta topped with caramelized balsamic pears was another delectable item in their menu that we would definitely go back for again. Maison Bagatelle would also of course not be what it is without its fine and endless range of baked goods and desserts, of which we devoured their ‘Pistachio Eclairs’.

With its convenient location in close proximity to the Dubai Mall – the world’s biggest mall- a brunch here could be followed up with a long day of shopping and activities in the Downtown Dubai area.
