What’s a Mexican brunch without enchiladas? Maya has a few different ones to choose from, including the enfrijoladas – an egg enchilada with queso panela, pickled chile and crema fresca, topped with a black bean purée. The eggs are light and fluffy, and the purée keeps the enchiladas moist while also adding a unique flavor.

The huitlacoche and wild mushroom enchiladas, pictured below, are also worth a try. These enchiladas are made with corn tortilla, chayote salad, roasted garlic, Mexican ricotta cheese, and a creamy fire roasted poblano chile sauce.

Unlimited small plates can fill you up in no time, but before you ask for the bill, don’t forget to order Maya’s pan dulce. A specialty on the brunch menu, the pan dulce is Mexican French toast made with chipotle cajeta, nutella, banana and whipped cream fresca. Sweet, rich and heavenly, this dessert is worth the calories.
