Princess Cruises Completes its 14th Sanctuary, an Adults-Only Haven

Princess Cruises recently completed a three-year renovation project that consisted in including a “pocket of tranquility” – The Sanctuary – aboard every one of its 14 modern luxury ships. The adults-only retreat is popular amongst guests wanting to evade from the crowds.

The first Sanctuary debuted in 2006 aboard Crown Princess and was an instant success. Guests enjoyed taking a break to indulge the private haven decorated with blush seating, massage cabanas, light meals, signature beverage and dramatic ocean views.

The Serenity Stewards are on hand to offer guests the utmost level of service, making sure every guest gets the attention they deserve. The Sanctuary offers outdoor private cabanas where guests can relax by taking advantage of the exclusive Lotus Spa Services including such treatments as Deep Tissue Muscle Massage, a relaxing Swedish Massage or a Full Body Lotus Massage especially for couples.
