The package, starting at $5,000 per night, is offering guests a once-in-a-lifetime hotel experience. It includes:
•Stay in your choice of the Republican or Democrat Ultimate Suite (one-bedroom suite) decorated with appropriate “party-perfect” red or blue decorations, fan-fare, hats, t-shirts etc.
•Champagne breakfast for two
•Complimentary parking
•Complimentary politically-inspired DVDs for in-room viewing including West Wing, Dave and political commentary from The Daily Show
•Champagne Limo Moonlight Tour of the monuments
•Political Swag Bag
The “Pick Your Party” package is available on the weekends from now through the Presidential Inauguration in January.
For those looking for a more fiscally conservative option, the Mayflower is also offering a “Red, White and You,” package starting at $224 per night. That option includes daily breakfast, nightly parking and a collection of politically inspired DVDs for in-room viewing ranging from The West Wing to the movie Dave and political commentary from The Daily Show.
Additionally, at hotels nationwide, the Renaissance is offering an election-themed cocktail menu which includes libations like the Lobbyist (Belvedere Bloody Mary Vodka, Martini & Rossi Dry Vermouth and Fee Bros.
