Tori No Su – Japanese Foods Delicacies in Dubai
Combining traditional Japanese cuisine with contemporary offerings, Tori No Su, or “bird’s nest”, is a new sleek Japanese destination at the renowned Jumeirah at Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi.
The Tori No Su experience unfolds in a modern Japanese setting complete with live Teppanyaki and Robatayaki counters, a Sushi bar and a beverage bar. Each area offers something different, from the “hito kuchi” or “bite-sized” gourmet elements at the bar to the skewered options at the Robatayaki counter. Guests can also opt to have a traditional “omakase” where Chef Ando and his team provide a line of dishes inspired by the moment. Japan native Chef Ando uses his kiaseki skills to tie the offerings together.
In addition to fresh creative food, guests will notice this theme carried out throughout the aesthetic of the space. The restaurant has living grass walls that complement the contemporary, but homely design.
Perfect for a casual drink after work amid an eclectic crowd, Tori No Su is located across from the hotel’s lobby and has its own private terrace entrance. Make sure to try their signature mocktail, the ‘Tei-en’ or ‘Japanese Garden’, an exotic mix of fresh kiwi, cucumber and apple juice garnished with a traditional Shisō leaf.
Tori No Su restaurant is open for lunch from 12:00pm – 3:30pm and for dinner from 7:00pm – 10:30pm.
